Cheltenham gamelan was specially commissioned by Cheltenham Music Festivals and arrived in the UK in 2005.
The beautiful hand made instruments features a rose motif, which mirrors that on the roof of the Pittville Pumproom, a magnficent example of Regency architecture, where the gamelan is located.
Cheltenham gamelan offers a thriving programme of workshops for schools and the community.
These are generally 90 minutes long, but can be varied according to your needs and ability.
We are experienced in tailoring workshops according to the age and number of participants and can usually accommodate a group of any size.
Inset sessions These can be arranged for teachers in primary and secondary schools.
A community group meets regularly during term time. New members can join at any time. If you are interested in joining please come along to a free taster session.
Make music with your colleagues - this is a great way to de-stress and encourage team-building.
Catering services are available on request.
These are endless - birthday parties, a more refined hen or stag party - and club or organisation. We are happy to tailor sessions for any group.
