            <title>Festive Gamelan Showcase</title>
            <description>Southbank Centre houses a magnificent Javanese gamelan and classes have recently started there again after a break of two years. They are currently being run in conjunction with Morley College and include a beginners and intermediate group for adults and two classes for children and young people who are studying at the Centre for Young Musicians. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
On 16th December 2007 we visited the Showcase event, an informal afternoon concert held on the Royal Festival Hall Ballroom floor, to mark the end of the autumn term. </description>
